External beauty ... the ruler of all attributes

Image
When sometimes you feel you had been deprived of a happiness you deserved, for something that doesn't define your inner qualities, you feel wronged. Did you ever think you could have done something to have been born in a beautiful skin than what you have? We never have such unnecessary thoughts because we know, this is not in our hands. Then why are there people blaming and people being blamed, for only their external beauty? A blame game for something you didn't even do and have no control over. It doesn't even define the person's real self, but people greatly depend upotge reassurance a person's external beauty gives for his/her goodness in the society.      No body in the world would go for a cellphone with comparatively less features, in comparison to a phone with a far better quality, more features and safer in the same price range.  Do you know, that the melanin in the human skin prevents it from sunburns and is found more in the...

Teri berukhi .. A Hindi poetry on relationship issues, by Sonal Singh

Image
Let's go through the poetry first:- Jab aas paas na rahun tumhare, Jab nuks koi na nikaalun tumhare, Zara puchhna khud se mere baare mein. Jab akele na bhi ho bina mere, Jab yaad bhi na ho aankho mein tere, Zara puchhna khud se mere baare mein. Jab lage ki khush ho aise bhi, Jab lage mujhse chidhte ho vaise bhi, Zara puchhna khud se mere baare mein. Jab lage ki ab jaa kar sukun mila, Jab lage mere saath bas khoon jala, Zara puchhna, khudse mere baare mein. Puchhna ki mera kasoor kya hai, Puchhna ki ye jo fitoor sa hai, Ye kya hai?  Meri galti hai koi ya ab main hi galat lagti hun?  Tumhe pareshani hai koi, ya tumhari pareshani hi main lagti hun? Kyu aisa rishta hamaara badalne laga hai? Kyu jo hasta tha mann ab machalne laga hai? Kya wajah hai ki roz taraazu alag hota hai? Kyu ye roz inaam mera alag hota hai? Kuchh toh sochte hoge mere mann ko tatolte waqt?  Kuchh toh dekhte hoge mere jazbaat se khelte waqt? Mujhe acha lagega ya bura kya tumhe pata nahi chalta...

A simple key to get over stress related to frustration and ensure success in your chosen path.

Image
Do you often feel frustrated? Where does this frustration develops from? A very simple answer is not getting what you had expected. Frustration signals directly to the feeling which comes after consequent failures even after numerous trials. You feel frustrated when your efforts were honest and you did the best you could have done, but the results did not meet your expectations.       Let me tell you this feeling may not help you to gain success later but it is surely gonna let you have some losses for sure. Your body and mind would get a negative signal and would act accordingly after that. They might gradually begin to remain in the stressful situations even after such situations have passed already. It would subconsciously feed in your mind that you are in a situation that is terrible for you. And thus, the results would hamper the biological processes in your body. Persistent stress and frustration might lead to p...

The social stigma against COMPLAINS..

Image
The human race is evolved with an ability to perceive what's going on around in the environment. We have a cognitive ability and that is what makes us realise if there is something wrong going on around us. It helps us to raise our voice and ask for help or even complain to save ourselves from that wrong thing. But when the matter comes to a problem within us or with the people around us, and if this cognitive ability comes into action we are somewhat under an external pressure and resistance to not bring it out in public.      These are a wide range of topics such as, a mental health issue, an issue with the behaviour of a family friend or a relative, an issue with your own family or parents, an issue with someone socially powerful and sometimes even those who are a part of some authorities, etc. There might be more in this list or maybe some different versions of the same story. But there is one thing that is common, and that is the resis...

I Miss You Papa .. An emotional hindi poetry by Sonal Singh

Image
"I Miss You Papa", is an emotional masterpiece poetry that can lead one to tears. The feeling of losing a parent, a father, is one such irreparable loss, that most of us in this world are destined to face, sooner or later. There is an outburst of memories that one has with their father, is what is seen in such a situation. And the pain is just unimaginable.       We generally are under a notion that everything will remain as it is forever, our life, our family, our loved ones, and this notion makes us take our important support system, our parents, for granted. This is sad, as no one is able to change anything they did in the past, and there is no possibility to correct our mistakes even after we realise it, as there is no way to bring back the ones who have left this world. All we have with us is guilt and sadness.       The poem here, brings out minute details of every moment one experiences with a fat...

Badle badle lagte ho.. Hindi poetry by Sonal Singh

Image
"Badle badle lagte ho" , a hindi poetry that expresses out the feelings of a lover who has started to face a situation where the love in the romantic relationship has started to fade away or seems like one.      The person is confused if this is only because of the situations, or is it that the feelings of the partner has began to change. In such a situation there are many random thoughts that a person thinks about as a possible reason for a cold behaviour. They think, their partner might be angry for something, or probably it's the partner trying to distant himself just to avoid the person.       In such cases, it becomes highly needful for the two, to bring up the concerns and discuss it which each other.  One never knows what other reasons might there be, if such an avoidance is not intentional.   This is what the poem tries to show to its readers in a beautiful way. So let's start reading it:- Y...

Shikayatein .. Hindi poetry on unrequited love by Sonal Singh

Image
A situation comes in our romantic relationships where we think that our significant other is not present with us even if they do physically. We feel hurt, and unheard. Such a feeling is not just frustrating but also is something that makes us very sad. It looks like we are often going through an existential crisis, and our partner seems to not even bother about it. Life doesn't seems like going to any direction and everything around looks colourless. The problem comes up when we don't even know what is that something that we should do, or should have done so that we may get the same love and affection from our partner as much as we give to them. Everything can't work out from one side if the latter isn't equally treating us. This poem over here, tries to share our some of such feelings in the form of words. It might help you clearly understand what situations you are in, if in case you are. A poem is one of the best and the most beautiful way of express...

Jealousy ruins happiness.. Feelings, causes and how to deal with it.

Image
There are times when your jealousy creeps into your mind in such a way that it seems impossible to get over it or even ignore it and divert our attention into some other direction. Internet is full of articles which advise us to do the same, to divert our attention as an immediate response to suppress this feeling. We're asked to find out the root cause and sometimes even discuss it with the significant other.      Trust me I tried my best to do so. I tried to figure out what the root cause might be. And there were multiple things that added up to be a reason for the same.       Before I let you know anything about the causes I felt were responsible, let me share the situation which caused me to feel jealous.       My significant other has been my support system all this time. He is a person with an open mind and believes in a lifestyle that doesn't have any unnecessary boundaries. But this too much f...

Waqt ka pata nahi chalta.. Hindi poetry bye Sonal Singh

Image
Every day, every minute, every second passes without bothering if you have lived it to the fullest or not. We keep preparing for that one time when we would live but no one ever knows if they would be alive till then or not. This hindi poetry over here tries to bring out this same message and makes the readers reflect whether this way of life is good or not? It encourages them to wait for a moment and observe the nature and it's beauty. The poet over here asks to wait and watch how everyone looks like when they move in a crowd like a herd of sheeps. So do enjoy this lovely peace:- You can also watch this poem in the form of a video for an even better experience from the link below:- Click here to watch the poem video Roz dhalta ja raha hai din, Waqt ka pata hi nahi chalta.. Mann ki baatein.. Hindi poetry by Sonal Singh

Image
When we deal with loneliness, we find it really hard to share all that is inside our heart. It becomes difficult to keep everything to ourselves all the time but the truth is that everyone isn't trustworthy in this world. We can be in a house full of people, we can have a whole lot of friends on social media, a big friends circle at school or college, but deep within we know that we are lonely, and this feeling is something that many of us have experienced. In such a situation, we wonder how different would our lives have been if we had a friend with whom we could have shared all our happiness and sorrows, all our feelings and even been vulnerable at times without being judged.      Don't you think there should be solution for this? A substitute for such a friend is the night sky, the moon and the stars. Once you look up and gaze towards them, you start feeling better. This poem below would give you an explanation as to how you ...

Tere jaane ke baad.. Hindi poetry by Sonal Singh

Image
Why has suicide become a common term these days? Why has the youth found it to be the most appropriate thing to do when situations aren't going the way they expected? Why can't we keep fighting? What is it that we think death would give us that life cannot? And who has given us the right to take away with us the happiness and smile of all those whom we call our loved ones? Don't you think there can always be another option if one door is closed? Yes there is always another way to choose, and if not, why not choose to switch your destination. One never knows where can his happiness he found.      This poem brings out that feeling, that emotion that stays with those who have lost their dear ones through this act of killing themselves. We can't talk to ones whom we have lost but we can at least try to save those who want to choose the same fate. You can also watch this poem in the form of a video for a better experience. Let's talk about anger issues...

Image
Is there anything as such as not being furious? Or probably you dream to be someone of that sort. You say you get angry, but it's not your fault. But then it is also you who says you would control it.  An interesting fact that I came to notive about anger is, that it isn't something that you think you can suppress. You would fine millions of people telling you about controlling it, ignoring it or simply not feeling it. Just try to imagine a different situation. Suppose you get hurt while playing, cooking, or while doing anything (activity isn't important). A sure shot outcome would be pain from that hurt. Now imagine someone telling you, ignore it, ignore your wound, ignore your pain, or simply don't feel the pain. How would that sound like?  Craziness? Or something you would call nonsense? Isn't it?       Now try to relate this with your situations, don't you feel the same when you are angry and some one advises you...

Am I the one to be questioned all the time? A whole bunch of questions that arise when we are depressed..

Image
Everything you did in the past simply feels worthless just because of one unexpected outcome which you may or may not be the cause of. Have to be taken for granted and left unattended just for that single unattempted mistake of yours. Regret? But for what? For not being able to do something you couldn't do? You have people with their own list of expectations, simple or complicated, they would want things to happen the way they like.       Behave according to the needs and beliefs of the society. Dress the way they like, work the way they tell you to, like whatever they stereotype you to, and above all, well nothing comes above their wishes. You believe you can change the world? You feel you are better in something you like but they don't? You are simply supposed to act, act the way they tell you, not an inch of inacuuracy is acceptable.       You think you are strong enough? There are examples o...

Empathy in a relationship and it's importance. How would they be able to enculcate this lovely attribute...?

Image
Is it so very necessary for both the individuals in a couple to be perfect? Or is it simply togetherness and the will to accept each other the way they are that is important? Why is it so common these days to see people still unknown to the attribute of empathy? They are often confused between what they call empathy and what its actual meaning is. What they call as empathy is actually what we know as sympathy. Being sympathetic in a relationship turns things into a master and slave situation. You feel pity over your partner, maybe that's why you would not choose to hurt them, but that doesn't mean you would feel that same way they are feeling.       Men and even women too have been seen to have a lack of empathy but they don't even realize this. Your partner tells you about some problem they are facing, all you start doing is either console them, tell them you feel sorry for them, but wait, you felt the same when y...

The only problem was that I was hungry..

Image
Don't you feel sometimes people around you seem too annoying but those reasons did not bother you so much in some other point of time with the same people causing them? Do you really think every issue that comes up needs a big fight or argument to be resolved? Or probably you are the one who sometimes feel like surrounded by a bunch of idiots having no common sense at all. You see you have been under a very common situation and that doesn't even seem like a problem. Neither did any of you guys ever realised nor did I. I admit, I had been in to same situation when I felt and reacted in an overwhelming way. My views suddenly changed when a certain activity came in between as an interval. Slowly and gradually I felt like agreeing to something that my own subconscious mind popped inside my head. I agreed to the fact that I overreacted previously over the situation which was possibly a mistake but did not deserve a big punishment rather could be handled patiently or simp...
