This is a hindi poetry which brings out the feelings of being a part of such a society where females are often treated as people who do not have any authoritative role in a family. Be it their parents house or their in-laws' , a woman has to struggle hard to find a place that she can call her own. A lot of reforms and newly made laws have however made it clear that a female is as equally a rightful owner to her parents'property as the male child but this is just a law that hardly people think they should even bother about. Even in the at her husband's house where a woman should be considered as a family member, years pass when she is taunted for her upbringing, and reminded that she is from some other family. Honestly, there are a big number of families even today, who believe that a woman's universe lies around the happiness and we'll being of the male members of her family.
