Am I the one to be questioned all the time? A whole bunch of questions that arise when we are depressed..
Everything you did in the past simply feels worthless just because of one unexpected outcome which you may or may not be the cause of. Have to be taken for granted and left unattended just for that single unattempted mistake of yours. Regret? But for what? For not being able to do something you couldn't do? You have people with their own list of expectations, simple or complicated, they would want things to happen the way they like.
Behave according to the needs and beliefs of the society. Dress the way they like, work the way they tell you to, like whatever they stereotype you to, and above all, well nothing comes above their wishes. You believe you can change the world? You feel you are better in something you like but they don't? You are simply supposed to act, act the way they tell you, not an inch of inacuuracy is acceptable.
You think you are strong enough? There are examples of people making their craziness come true, but those who think crazy are actually too big in number as compared to these. You think you can fight? Tell me for how long? And if you say for all your life, my dear the truth is, there would be no life to live then. And even if you do, why should you? Is every choice that you have, supposed to be proven and given an approval certificate only after that? What if you don't have the much stereotyped choices? You are girl and you prefer toy guns over dolls, is that what you think must be proven? What if you are biy but you like pink? Does that choice of yours need to be forcefully changed? You like body building, does that hobby requires you to be of a specific gender? And by chance if you aren't, you need to be prove yourself worthy of it?
Even if it is not a case of stereotyping, it is of perfection. You need to be perfect in what you have chosen or else you can't make a call. Does that look feasible? Are all men riding sports bikes, perfect in doing so? Are all women who are supposedly homemakers, really great in their work? So then why is anything that we choose first seen from the pe-framed mentality?
Why is everyone ready to catch hold of a single loophole that is possible, to bring you down? No one would ever care if you have been great in the past? Yes, it's true indeed, that we are supposed to make ourselves better and better, but it doesn't give anyone else the right to bring us down or forbid us from making decisions of our own choice.
