The plight of being the so called all rounder... when a mediocre mind starts thinking...
You cannot use your brain to do multiple things at once. You cannot concentrate if you do not focus on one work at a time. And if by any chance you do so and perform satisfactorily, well then congratulate yourself for being a multi tasking individual.
It's so great to be able to do everything but then, only such individuals know how it feels to be actually someone of that kind. You know a little bit of everything, but nothing as a whole can define you. It's hard, truse it's really hard when such individuals are to make choices. A normal individual would simply go towards the path which leads them towards an easy or probably a more interesting way they would like their lives to be. But what about such people who have an equal amount of love, interest, time and effort for multiple ways? I don't think it's a crime to have multiple choices, but in real, it is actually a carrier suicide as a whole of we look deeply into the matter. No matter what happens such people aren't able to carry on with a single path for nor are they able to ace one for the same reason. It's either an exception or a miracle if such an individual aces in all these fields. Infact it's tougher for then any other average individual to excel even in a single field they are involved in.
Chances to top are very feeble although they have a better level of IQ then their mates or colleagues. It's a pity when after having so many talents, where you after being bad for nothing turn out to be , best for nothing.
In my personal opinion, I would say, being the best for nothing is comparatively a more frustrating statement when keeping such individuals in mind. I mean, just imagine, how would it feel if despite the fact that you have a knowledge in maximum of fields, the conclusion comes out to be a question mark when you are asked about the specific talent that you have.
Individuals of such qualities are overall found to be good in everything but are hardly found to have topped the class, excelled in specific competitions or competitive exams or ended up getting their dream college or job. Although at school such children are seen taking active participation in every event, or co curricular activities. But a little bit of ignorance towards their health leads them to fatigue and tiredness to a great extent. This might be due to the large amount of energy they need for doing these tasks, all at once.
They feel, it's really important for them to be a good performer in each and everything they feel is important for them. This might be the probable reason that they aren't able to focus on one particular field and that they actually divide their brain and energy in each one of it equally. The mindset is clear, and that is, not to let any of the aspects to lag behind just to focus on a single part. The problem is, with the changing time, there is a great change in people's lifestyle, schedules, choices and also the requirements. And thus, the body, the brain, the habits and the mindset have to be shifted and shaped accordingly. We need to adjust ourselves according to the environment we live in. Such an era, which requires largest possible output in least input of time and energy to achieve great results on an average. The focus of organizations, firms, institutions and employment agencies has shifted from a single individual to groups of people. That leads to expectations on an increased level since no one is going to focus on your average results, you need to be extraordinary with your work if you need a recognition. This is where people with multiple talents and average skills and knowledge of every field start to lag behind. It's quite easy to understand how these problems arise from the very basic level. But as we all know, it's always about the survival of the fittest. Such people therefore have only two options left with them if they want to survive in the modern world, first, to either search for that single passion that exists the best inside you and start to focus on that, or second, to get on to something so great so you can excel each and every field where you are just involved and perform on an average level.
Sounds pretty disheartening, but this is the bitter truth. If you reading this out there, are one of those individuals who come into this category I mentioned above, well dear my best wishes and all the prayers are with you. I know life is challenging but it still doesn't give you a reason to quit. Stay motivated, as much as possible. Surround yourself with all those who love you. Give yourself the greatest of happiness you deserve and simply be the cause of your own joy.
