Miss you Maa .. A sad hindi poetry by Sonal Singh
"Miss you Maa", the phrase itself says it's whole story. This poetry brings out the pain that most of us face or are destined to face in this world and is something that we can't just run away from or can skip this feeling if he are lucky enough to have felt a mother's love and care in our lives ever.
The pain is equally invincible and has no substitute. But what is that which makes this poem so much different? It's the regret, the feeling of guilt that a child feels once he or she has lost the most loving and caring person in his or her life. The regret of not being with her, your mother, when you could have been. The regret of not having the time to live some happy moments in her presence. The regret of not ever keeping her as your priority despite being her priority ever since you have been born.
It's obvious that bringing someone back is not possible, nor can we stop anybody forever. Sooner or later, everybody is destined to go. It is this time between your birth and death that you can control and decide to whom you want these moments to be dedicated.
Was it so difficult to make some time for the one who gave you birth? Was there something so important that we could not reciprocate the love and care that she gave us all her life?
The phrases of the poem below are those which a person thinks of, when he or she realises all that I said above. Hardly any of us realise that the final truth is that nobody is going to be with us forever, not even the ones who want to, but it's too late when we actually see the reality. The same situation would have been so less painful if we would have given our hundred percent in giving our care and happiness to our mothers.
This poem also brings out every detail of the stuffs someone misses after having lost their mother.
Let us read this emotional poetry to know more of this awful feeling, and can understand the sad consequences that one faces while they are in deep grief.
Let us know how would the a world look like for a person with no mother in it.

Ye baat kaise samjhun main?
Lori suna kar jo thapki di thi,
Vo thapki kaha se laaun main?
Jaagi jaagi inn aankhon mein ab
Sapne kaha se laaun main?
Gale lagaana vo tera pyaar se,
Aakhri kyu reh gaya?
Khana puchhna uss haal mein bhi,
Aakhri kyu reh gaya?
Vo gode kaha se laaun jisme jannat basti thi meri...
Vo Ma kahaan se laaun jisne
mannat maangi thi meri..
Koi mod de iss waqt ko aur aaja tu paas mere..
Ek aur mauka de iss nalayak ko,
Rehne ka saath tere..
Kaash kar deta Vo adla badli iss waqt ki, iss manzar ki...
Aankhein band meri ho jaati, hoti chaao tere aanchal ki..
Kho kar tujhko ab baaki kya reh gaya pata nahi...
Maa tere baad khuda hi kaha reh gaya ab pata nahi ..

A true fact is that a few memories can never be erased and a few pains can never be overcomed. So is the memory of a mother and the pain of losing her.
