     For a mother, her child is the first priority in life. From the very beginning of his existence in her womb till the time he is independent, she nurtures and protects the child. And is a support even after that.
Honestly speaking, it's just impossible to even reciprocate the amount of love and care a mother gives to her child but it is surely possible to give her at least what we can. But another bitter truth is the fact that this hardly even happens. 
    This poem over here tries to reflect on this fact. We don't have any idea how much injustice we do to the most important lady of our life. So let's begin:

Kudrat ka karishma ho ye kyu hain bhul jaate..?
Maa, tujhe log kyu samajh nahi paate?

Kho kar apni neendein kisi aur ne na sulaya hoga...
Mamta bhari awaaz se kisi ne na bulaya hoga..
Chot lage jab khud ko toh tujhe hi awaazein lagaate...
Tere kaam aane ka jab waqt aata toh na jane kaise hain badal jaate...
Maa, tujhe log kyu samajh nhi paate?

Tu thehri reh gayi intezar mein jinke,
Aage badhte chale gye mazilein ginte ginte..
Bheed mein jinki ungli pakad kar kabhi khone na diya...
Aaj tujhe bheed mein chhod kyu ojhal hue jaate...
Maa, tujhe log kyu samajh nahi paate.?

Bas daanta hi toh tha un bachchon ko jinhe janm diya tha...
Galti ko sudhaar kar konsa gunaah kiya tha?
Aaj tere budhaape se nazrein hain churaate ...
Maa, tujhe log kyu samajh nahi paate?

Jinke mitti khaane par tujhey bas pyaar aaya...
Aaj tere aanchal ke mailepan se khud ko hain bachaate ...
Maa, tujhe log kyu samajh nahi paate.?

Jab thi toh kadr na ki kisine...
Jab chal basi toh jhoothe bas aansu bahaaye jaate...
Apne hisse ka nivala diya jinko...
Tujhe hissedaari dikhaaye jaate ..
Maa, tujhe log kyu samjh nahi paate.?

             I don't know how to start with it. It's actually something that I feel is not an imagination, but seems really silly when jotted down in the form of text. In the age of technology we have seen ourselves standing on the very narrow border between what we called as modern and age old mindsets. Most of us lie in the midst of the past and future generations and our mind works in that very manner. We have parents who had been living all their life following rules and regulations set up for them by their parents or guardians. And then we have a future generation that believes in freedom from all sorts of boundaries set up to cage their passion and dreams.       All we do is continuously struggle to find an easy way out to satisfy both. Poetry:- Safed saaree ka uske fir se rangeen hona tay tha, Khaali dil ko uske fir se shaukeen hona tay tha, Ki mil gaya tha usey fir se koi saathi apna, Apni kismat pe usey fir se yakeen hona tay tha. Vo ek bebaak parinda tha, Nikla tha udaan pe, Kisi tarah se nazar padi uski iss saadgi ki pehchaan pe, Dil vahi, vo haar gaya ispe, Jaan ko apni vaar gaya ispe.
